Manufacturing
At our mills, coconut husks yield coir fiber and coco coir, the key ingredient for our Growing Medium. A sustainable solution for thriving plants.
Coir Pith is washed with fresh water to lower the electrical conductivity which is a measure of the salt content, so that plants roots can absorb water efficiently
Wet Coir pith are then sun-dried in concrete yards to reduce the moisture content to the right value so as to achieve the required compaction
Dried Coir Pith undergoes careful sorting based on electrical conductivity and moisture levels, guaranteeing the consistent, top-tier quality of our coir products.
Sorted Coir Pith is sifted and sieved to remove the fine dust particles and extract the right sized grains as per the growing medium specification.
Sifted coco pith is mixed with coco chips and coco coir, as per the substrate specifications, mechanically, to obtain a homogeneous mixture
The substrate mixture undergoes compaction in hydraulic presses, meticulously shaped to achieve the desired size and density for optimal performance in our coir-based products.
Customized coco substrates are efficiently packed—sealed in growbags, shrink-wrapped with/without labels, or in cartons. Ready for swift palletizing and shipment from our stock godown.
Quality Control
We have an in-house, fully equipped laboratory where we test different parameters of the raw materials and finished products before and after each stage of the processing to make sure that they are just right for the plants to root in and flourish.
